Cover Design

Our cover designer, Linda Caldwell, has designed covers for a wide array of genres, and a large portfolio of authors. Some of her clients are New York Times bestselling, and others are just starting out with their very first book. She also designs for several publishers. She keeps a gallery of her designs on Pinterest.

If you’re interested in having her design a cover for you, please fill out her intake form here.

Formatting is a lesser known service in publishing. What formatters do is convert documents from your word processing program into ebooks and PDF text layouts for paperback and hardcover interiors. We do not publish the books, but upon request we can walk an author through how to publish their work.

E.M. Tippetts Book Designs specializes in upmarket design with custom headers and graphics to make your book look like that of a top earning author at any of the big, New York or London publishers. We have a portfolio of our print book interiors here.

Our ebooks actually look better than the big publishing houses’. As an indie author, E.M. Tippetts has helped to pioneer better, more marketable ebook formatting, and collectively we have more experience with graphics and other fancy touches than most other formatters. We also know quite a few coding tricks to keep the file size nice and small. We keep a portfolio of our ebooks here.

If you’d like to have us format for you, please proceed to our manuscript preparation guidelines.
